I don’t know. This may be our best show yet just because we get really weird at the end. Of course, by “weird” I mean sexual and disgusting. It is pretty good.
Synopsis!
Doug and Lydia talk about The Cult’s new album, Barack Obama vs. Mitt Romney, Sasha Baron’s “The Dictator”, Blackboard Jungle’s upcoming show June 2nd at The Roxy on Sunset Boulevard, the breast-feeding four-year-old on the cover of Time magazine and something Lydia made up called “ball crunches”.
Elaboration!
In this episode, coined ”Cult of Personality”, Doug and I talk about The Cult’s new album (though we don’t actually have it, yet, and have only heard one song in its entirety), Mandy Lion’s recounting of Ian Astbury studying his look in the 80′s and then emulating him (very flattering, I would say). We discuss the cult of personality that is Barack Obama because he talks about transparency and then confiscates everyone’s cell phone at a fundraiser for his reelection. We talk about the breast-feeding four-year-old on the cover of Time Magazine without really saying anything about it, and more importantly, I try to talk Doug into doing “ball crunches”. Buttholes are mentioned, shaving and enemas and things that are gross and funny. Oh, and the word of the day is perineum.
Please go see Blackboard Jungle perform their reunion show at The Roxy June 2nd!!!
