In this episode Lydia highlights all the awesome artists she has the pleasure of knowing: photographer, Dean Capture; mosaic artist, Juliana Martinez; rock journalist, Queen Eilene; guitarist/musician, Tony Gamble; rock legend, Mandy Lion; sociologist, Dr. Chauntelle Tibbals; movie producer, Anthony Clementi; Blackboard Jungle singer, Kenny Price; doctor, Tim; and craft-making mom, Leila Cook.
I was going to put the podcast off because I’ve been crankin’ out a website at breakneck speed and Doug gave me a verbal lashing for my laziness! It was awe-inspiring. Ha!!
I spent an hour talking about all the wonderful people I know who make life bright and amazing just by being themselves. These people pour themselves into what they do and make my life better for it. Juliana Martinez is always creating, Tony Gamble keeps making music, Dr. Chauntelle Tibbals brings a fresh and enlightening perspective to any conversation and is a great friend. Queen Eilene is setting up a concert next year in honor of the Dio Cancer Fund. What would life be without the brilliance of inspired intellects/artists to challenge our concept of truth and beauty? I am grateful to you all and truly blessed to know you!!!
Go see Blackboard Jungle June 2nd at The Roxy, and go see Mandy Lion either May 25th at The Underworld in Las Vegas, or May 26th at The Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada!!

This site is dedicated to photography, watercolor art, knitted things and my Francophile tendencies. I also post light technical support ideas for neat web design tricks and fixes, and I have been known to occasionally rant about nonsense.
The company name is Don’t Brake My Art. A command and a cute turn of phrase.
